Product Applications
Aqauculture
Menhaden Fish Oil contains some of the highest levels of essential fatty acids from fish oil, making menhaden oil a cost effective and efficient choice to achieve optimal growth and development. The omega-3 fatty acids found in Menhaden Fish Oil have been shown to improve lipid composition, reproductive performance, and strengthen immunity.
Beef & Dairy
There is evidence that the characteristic omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil, EPA and DHA, have a positive effect on reproduction, improved milk composition, and an increase in Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), a nutrient found in milk.
Swine
Just like humans, newborn and early-weaned pigs do not have a fully-developed immune system and rely on their diet to strengthen and defend against illness. Feeding fish meal at the proper inclusion levels may improve the immune function by improving dietary intake and reducing inflammation to help piglets stay healthy and free from illness.
Poultry
The omega-3 fatty acids, (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid), found in fish oil have been shown to improve reproductive performance, strengthen immunity by reducing inflammation response to particular antigens, increase omega-3 fatty acids content in eggs and contribute to overall growth.
