New Study: Omega-3 Enriched Chicken is a Lucrative Draw Among Consumers
Consumers want healthier chicken enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids, and they’re willing to pay a premium to get it. Those are the findings of a new study of U.S. consumers by the Nielsen Perishables Group, which polled approximately 700 consumers. According to the study, 79% of those polled expressed interest in chicken enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids, and a majority, 58%, are willing to pay more in order to get it.
